KCR Spying On His Own Ministers?

KCR Spying On His Own Ministers?

It is a known fact that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu does not believe anybody including his own Cabinet colleagues and views everybody with suspicion.

This was in sharp contrast to his successor late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who used to believe his men and go to any extent to help them; which was why he was able to have a lot of trusted lieutenants.

However, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has inherited the qualities of Naidu, rather than YSR. Like Chandrababu Naidu, KCR also does not believe his own party leaders, including his Cabinet colleagues.

According to highly placed sources, KCR has kept a tab on the telephonic conversations of his ministers by tapping their mobile and land phones.

The intelligence department is said to be working overnight to tap the phones of the ministers and give regular feedback to the Chief Minister. Former Deputy Chief Minister K Rajaiah had to lose his post only because of this telephone tapping, sources said.

This lack of trust on his own Cabinet colleagues clearly indicates that KCR is feeling terribly insecure and is apprehensive that there might be revolt against him one day or the other. May be he is spying even on his son K T Rama Rao and nephew T Harish Rao, say sources.
