As expected, senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas started feeling the heat of party leadership anger, following a complaint from the TRS leaders from Nizamabad district to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Nizamabad leaders, who met the camp office of KCR’s daughter K Kavitha on Wednesday morning, wrote a letter to the TRS chief seeking disciplinary action against DS.
And in the afternoon, DS sought an appointment with KCR to explain his version and he was asked to come at around 6 pm to meet the chief minister.
As DS was getting ready to go to Pragathi Bhavan, he got a call from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) that KCR was busy and he would not like to meet him today.
“Probably, you might get a call tomorrow,” the CMO office told DS.
It is unlikely that KCR will meet DS tomorrow also, as he is going to Vijayawada to have a darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga to present diamond “mukku pudaka” (nose stud) to the deity.
“I don’t know whether I will get a chance to meet him tomorrow also, as he would return only in the evening. I will be at his mercy to get the appointment,” a disappointed DS said.
Sources said If he does not get the chief minister’s appointment, DS will be compelled to take his own course of action.
He is contemplating quitting the party and return to the Congress fold. And that is what KCR wants and he is only waiting for such an opportunity!
