Having enough headaches of its own, the Union Government is not ken on getting embroiled in the issues of AP and T currently. Hence, they sent Petroleum Minister Dharmesh Pradhan to Hyderabad mediate a truce between Naidu and KCR.
Accordingly, Pradhan fixed up meetings with Naidu on last Thursday and KCR on Friday. His meeting with Naidu took place according to schedule in Vizag.
But KCR canceled his luncheon appointment with Pradhan because he was reportedly upset that the Union Government did not come out with a categorical statement on Section 8 in support of Telangana.
As a CM, it is unbecoming of KCR to refuse to meet a Union Minister. In the past, he cancelled a meeting with Union Minister, Sujana Chowdary too for obvious reasons. But as the CM, he is expected to maintain protocol whatever be his personal feelings.
If as the CM, he has such a huge ego, how much more ego would a Central Minister be having? When the time comes, will they not repay this insult at the hands of KCR, with interest? And who will benefit from all this? None! Who will be the losers? As usual, the people.
