Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday accused the TRS Government of not showing any seriousness towards the welfare of students in Telangana.
Speaking to media persons here, Kishan Reddy said that the government kept the students and parents confused over the fee reimbursment issue.
He said that the BJP was willing to give adequate time to the government to settle down. However, he said that the government should come out clear policies on matters like fee reimbursement.
Criticising the nativity decision of TRS government for re-imbursement of tuition fees to students, Kishan Reddy said the State government should follow the standard norms of other States in the country.
He said the party should not accept if 1956 is cut-off date for determination of nativity of a student. Such decision would ruin the future of lakhs of Telangana students, he added.
The students, who participated in Telangana agitation for five years are concerned about their future due to wrong decision of the KCR government, the BJP president said.
Some people, who have citizenship of other countries, contested elections on TRS tickets and became MLAs. But the Telangana students have been facing problems over their nativity, he added.
