KCR will not be inviting his Seemandhra counterpart Chandrababu Naidu to his swearing-in ceremony on June 2.
Neither does he intend to invite any prominent politicians from the State or the Center. Instead he has asked all the families of the martyrs who gave up their lives for Telangana to be present on the occasion.
Responding to this news, Telugu Desam sources said that even if Chandrababu gets an invitation, he would not attend KCR’s ceremony.
Relations between the two politicians has plummeted to an all-time low in recent times and with Naidu expressing his hope of coming to power in Telangana also in the next elections, KCR is highly infuriated.
But this would set a really bad precedent for when the Prime Minister of Pakistan himself could make it to Modi’s ceremony, why should Naidu and KCR forsake protocol for the sake of their petty ego’s especially considering that they were once close buddies enjoying a guru-shishya relationship?
