All of us must have visited a doctor at least once or twice a year for some or other ailment since childhood. But Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao did not for 52 long years!
This was revealed by KCR himself on Thursday. Inaugurating a private hospital complex in Banjara Hills, KCR came out with a startling revelation to a gathering of senior doctors, many among them being specialists, and medical practitioners that he had not visited a doctor for any ailment for 52 years.
KCR said he was a very health conscious person and fitness freak.
According to him, he had no occasion to visit a doctor for even a minor ailment for 52 years. “Not even for checking blood pressure,” he said evoking applause from the doctors.
KCR said he had led a tension-free life and hence there was no question of BP. However, during the agitation for the cause of separate Telangana, especially during his fasting, he was constantly examined for BP because those were tension-filled days.
Many had questioned him whether he was a diabetic but he had no idea what it is, he said amidst laughter.
