Is TRS head honcho K Chandra Sekhara Rao making Rs 10 crore from farming?
The story goes that he makes use of the latest green house technology to farm his lands and that it seems is giving him a bumper return of Rs 10 crore per annum. KCR is said to have confessed this to his close aides.
Incidentally, no tax is levied on returns on agricultural lands. So, we can safely conclude that the entire amount goes into KCR’s savings.
That’s not all. KCR says that Telangana leaders should take up farming as a vocation. He says he is currently farming on 60 acres, of which he is growing potatoes on 45 acres and capsicum on the rest of the 15 acres using drip irrigation.
KCR says he will introduce green house farming in 200 villages in Telangana and distribute three acres each to dalits.
Well, his claims are truly astounding and if he is really making that kind of money, he truly deserves a Bharat Ratna!
