Once known as 'troubleshooter' in TRS, T Harish Rao himself has been facing unending troubles from his party.
TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao started sidelining Harish from party affairs gradually in a phased manner since GHMC elections in 2016 to pave way for the rise of his son KTR in the party and also in the TRS government.
After recent TS Assembly polls in which TRS won with a thumping majority and retained power, Harish has been completely sidelined and has been confined to his constituency Siddipet.
Harish has now been reduced to a constituency-level leader from a state-level leader in TRS, while KTR has been elevated as working president of TRS recently and KCR ready to pass the CM's baton to his son anytime after Lok Sabha polls.
KCR and KTR reportedly now launched "Operation Medak" to reduce Harish's clout in Undivided Medak district further, which he represents as Siddipet MLA.
The sudden decision of KCR and KTR to take TRS bitter rival Vanteru Prathap Reddy is being seen as an attempt to marginalise Harish even more in the coming days.
Harish is now handling KCR's constituency Gajwel constituency apart from his Siddpet constituency and the joining of Vanteru would mean that Gajwel responsibility would be taken off from Harish and given to Vanteru.
KCR recently appointed Mareddy Srinivas Reddy as chairman of TS Civil Supplies Corporation on the recommendation of KTR. Mareddy is a TRS leader from Medak and a staunch follower of KTR.
Few more appointments of other leaders from Medak are in the pipeline.
Harish supporters in TRS see these latest appointments and joinings as adding salt to Harish's injury and feel sad and pity for their beloved leader.
