The euphoria among the Telangana protagonists over achieving statehood to the region is said to be gradually disappearing mainly due to dictatorial attitude of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Even the die-hard supporters of KCR are upset with the way he has been treating them.
For example, a hardcore Telangana activist was happy when KCR appointed him in a respectable position, but his happiness vanished within no time as he was not paid salary for four consecutive months.
He could not get KCR’s appointment several times and finally, when he brought the issue to the notice of the CMO, KCR finally arranged the salary.
But the nominated person was terribly disappointed to find that the salary was just around Rs 50,000 a month, which was three times less than what he was getting in the past in another position.
So was the case with Ghanta Chakrapani, who was appointed as Telangana Public Service Commission chairman recently.
Within a day of his appointment, he got a dressing down from KCR for saying that he would not entertain any job recommendations, even if it was from the CM himself. Chakrapani has not been provided with any facilities so far.
Many others, who thought they would earn name, fame and money after the Telangana formaton, are now cursing themselves for supporting a dictator like KCR.
