It is still a few hours left for the counting of votes in the Telangana assembly elections, polling for which was held on Friday.
But Telangana Rashtra Samithi leadership seems to have taken it for granted that it is going to return to power for the second successive term in the state.
According to rumours doing rounds in the social media circles, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has already fixed muhurtham for swearing-in of his government. However, there are different versions being heard with regard to the muhurtham.
One version says KCR will take oath on December 12, which happens to be Panchami with Sravana nakshtram, which is very auspicious for commencing any work.
But there is another theory, according to which KCR will take oath at 10.05 am on December 15, because he believes in numerology and has penchant for no. 6. The digits in time and date add up to the figure six.
However, December 15 being Ashtami, it is not very auspicious astrology wise.
“But any tithi in Margasira Masam is auspicious. Moreover, it is also good because of the commencement of very pious month – Dhanurmaasam,” a source said.
It is also said KCR alone will take oath as the chief minister and will form his cabinet at a later date – may be in the next one week. If the TRS gets absolute majority, he will form the cabinet quickly. Otherwise, he will wait till his government proves its majority on the floor of the assembly, date for which will be fixed by the Governor.
In any case, it is too early to talk about muhurthams for swearing-in ceremony as both TRS and Maha Kootami are said to be fighting a tight battle.
Who will be where is going to be decided in a few hours!
