Telangana Telugu Desam Party leader A Revanth Reddy is noted for taking potshots at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders, especially Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao.
He doesn’t lose any opportunity in making sarcastic comments against KCR, thereby pricking his ego.
On Tuesday, Revanth suggested a change of guard in the TRS leadership and said Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao would be the best bet to lead the party and the government.
Interacting with a few scribes in the Assembly Lobbies on Tuesday, Revanth said Harish Rao could be better Chief Minister if he replaced KCR. The TRS government, instead of encouraging defections should focus on governance, he said.
“If Harish Rao is made CM, he could give better governance than KCR”, he quipped.
As there is no governance in Telangana State, there is a need for a change of guard, he felt.
“Once KCR said his ancestors belonged to Bihar State”, he said and wanted to know why the government failed to protest against the Centre on officials’ bifurcation.
