Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao might be a strong votary of the Telangana while running the agitation for separate State, but after coming to power, he has been very generous towards entrepreneurs and big people from Andhra in granting boons for them.
The other day, KCR quietly regularised the illegal constructions at N-Convention Centre at Madhapur, owned by Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Several other industrial groups from AP were also benefitted favoured with land allocations and regularisation of their structures.
The latest beneficiary is senior actor and Telugu Desam Party MLA from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna.
On Friday, KCR granted exemption of penalty to the tune of Rs 5.9 crore towards regularisation of illegal constructions in Basavarama Tarakam Cancer Hospital premises at Banjara Hills.
Balayya is the chairman of the NTR Memoral Trust, which owns the cancer hospital.
A few days ago, Balayya met KCR and requested him to regularise the unauthorized constructions of the hospital building under Building Regularization Scheme (BRS), on the ground that it was extending services to the cancer patients with service motto.
The Chief Minister readily agreed to Balakrishna’s request. Though regularisation has to be done by collecting regularisation fee, KCR exempted the entire amount, thereby displaying his generosity.
