In what is believed as a witch-hunting of political rivals, the Telangana government headed by K Chandrasekhara Rao, has withdrawn police escort given to Telangana TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
Errabelli was being provided with an escort vehicle, along with his security personnel, in the wake of threat to his life from extremists. Now, with the Telangana government scaling down the security, he feels threat to his life.
On Tuesday, Errabelli strongly reacted to the withdrawal of escort from his security.
Speaking to media persons here, Errabelli informed that his security escort has been withdrawn by the Telangana Government.
Stating that he had been facing a threat to his life since a long time, he said he was not informed as to why his security has been scaled down.
As a protest, he offered to return the existing security personnel. He said he had strong faith in God and he will protect him.
