Is Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao feeling insecure in his own government? The answer is yes, according to Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy.
Alleging that KCR was not fulfilling his election-eve promises, the TDP MLA said the former was feeling insecure due to rising popularity of TDP.
The claim of TRS leaders that 10 lakh people turned up at Sunday’s TRS Foundation Day celebrations was totally false. On the other hand, the TDP meeting at Mahbubnagar was a grand success.
Revanth Reddy said the comment of KCR against the TDP meeting was an affront to people of Mahbubnagar district.
He wanted to know whether the TRS government had no time to remember sacrifices of 1,200 persons for the cause of Telangana State.
He alleged that the TRS government was totally neglecting families of farmers, who resorted to suicides under unbearable conditions.
On KCR’s claim that there were no power cuts in Telangana, Revanth said power cuts had come down because of less power consumption and not due to efficiency of the Chief Minister.
He lamented that KCR had been leveling allegations that his AP counterpart was not supplying power to his State.
But the Telangana government has written a letter to AP government stating that it is not willing to purchase power from Krishnapatnam plant, he reminded.
