KCR Dumps, KTR Adopts Mahbubnagar

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had dumped Mahbubnagar after representing the constituency in Lok Sabha for five years.

During his tenure, he hardly visited the most backward district of Telangana, leave alone taking up any developmental works. In 2014 elections, he shifted his constituency to Medak.

Now, his son and Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K Taraka Rama Rao has started promising moon to the people of Mahbubnagar. On Thursday, KTR visited Mahbubnagar to inaugurate a rail-over-bridge and announced various sops to the district.

Stating that Mahbubnagar was the most neglected district during the united Andhra Pradesh, KTR assured that the KCR government would bring about green revolution in the district by taking up Jurala, Pakala, Palamuru Lift Irrigation Project works on a war-footing.

Recalling his relationship with Mahbubnagar district, KCR’s son KTR said the Mahbubnagar district would get a big slice of posts in the next expansion of the cabinet.

He also said the KCR government would launch an action plan to solve drinking water crisis in the district. He promised that the road from Jadcherla to Mahbubnagar will be changed into a four-lane highway.
