There were speculations that the Chief Minister divesting some important subjects from some ministers as they had failed to come up to his expectations.
According to sources, KCR originally planned to divest the important Home portfolio from Nayani Narsimha Reddy on health grounds. Similarly, reports suggested that Etela Rajender would be divested of Finance portfolio as he was found wanting in the preparation of the State budget.
