KCR Doesn't Want Early Telangana

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao does not want the Centre to carve out separate Telangana state in the near future, if one were to go by the arguments of Telugu Desam Party legislator and spokesman A Revanth Reddy.

Speaking to media on Monday, Revanth Reddy said the announcement of separate Telangana state by Congress party had come as a bolt from blue to KCR, who was dreaming that his party could win more seats in the name of Telangana state in the 2014 elections.

“But the announcement of the Congress party has shattered his dream and now, he is indulging in all sorts of political speeches as he has lost the hope to grab more seats,” Revanth said.

Accusing KCR of hijacking the Sakala Jana Bheri meeting in the city on Sunday, the TDP leader alleged that KCR was trying to provoke Seemandhra people with his speeches. He said KCR and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had been working on the direction of AICC president Sonia Gandhi.

“KCR cannot give leadership to Telangana, Jaganmohan Reddy to Seemandhra and AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to the country,” he said.
