Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president and MLC Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Sunday ridiculed statement of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao claiming that he doesn't speak lies like other politicians.
Shabbir Ali said KCR's claim that he doesn't speak lies was the biggest lie. Referring to KCR's speech in Mahabubnagar district on Saturday, Ali said the Chief Minister should introspect before making such claims.
He also played two video clippings of KCR's speeches, incidentally delivered in Mahbubnagar district during election campaign, to prove his point.
In the first speech, KCR promised that he would make a Dalit, the first Chief Minister of Telangana. Else, he said, his head should be separated from his neck. In the second speech at Shadnagar, KCR promised to implement 12% reservation for Muslims within four months after coming to power.
KCR himself became Chief Minister and Muslim reservation is a distant dream even after five months, he added.
Ali said KCR delivered false promises though he knew there was power crisis. He appealed to the Chief Minister to implement his election-eve promises.
