It is not even 24 hours since Telangana Rashtra Samithi won the assembly elections in the state with a massive mandate and party president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has started speaking in a threatening tone against his political rivals in the opposition.
Speaking to media at the Telangana Bhavan soon after the TRS legislature party meeting where he was elected unanimously as its leader on Wednesday, KCR sent a warning note to his political rivals against making wild allegations against his government like “dogs.”
KCR said in the last term, he had aintained a lot of restraint despite the opposition making baseless allegations against the TRS government. In this elections, it has become evident that the TRS had got a positive mandate from the people and so, it would not let the opposition leaders go scot free.
“One, we will order inquiries into the scandals of the Congress leaders in the past, as we have all the evidences with us. We shall make them cough up their ill-gotten money. Secondly, we will not keep quiet if they bark like dogs and make wild allegations against us,” he said.
He also made serious comments against Congress president Rahul Gandhi for promising to the employees on removal of contributory pension scheme.
“It was introduced during the Congress regime at the Centre and implemented by YS Rajasekhar Reddy government. Now, the same Congress party speaks of removing the same. This is nothing but opportunistic policies,” he said.
