
Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to be getting overambitious with every passing day. On Tuesday, the TRS exuded confidence that the party will get back to power in the next election by clinching not less than 134 Assembly seats and its present strength is set to increase to 154 in the near future.
Speaking at TRS extended meeting at RD Convention Center at Kompally here, KCR said there was no alternative to the TRS which is on the forefront to translate its promises into reality to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
Total number of MLA seats in Telangana will to rise to 154 as every parliamentary segment will get two more MLA seats in the delimitation process, he said.
“We will not ask for votes if failed to provide safe drinking water to each household. The Government is spending Rs 3,500 crore for pension scheme alone”, he claimed.
“We will get back to power by implementing all ambitious projects like water grid, lakes restoration, greenery, pension, fine rice besides addressing the problems of the people”, he maintained.
He exhorted party leaders to take up the campaigning to grassroot level on the welfare schemes and developmental programs and win hearts of the people.
“With a focus on inclusive growth, we will create a golden Telangana wherein the poor get houses, farmers land, deprived classes welfare benefits on time”, he remarked.
