Bharatiya Janatha Party leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Friday ridiculed that Telangana Chief Minister was facing an untold stiff competition at home turf.
Participating in a BJP and TDP campaign along with BJP Telangana President G Kishan Reddy and his TDP counterpart of TDP L Ramana, Nagam alleged that KCR was afraid of his nephew and irrigation minister T Harish Rao’s prospects.
He said that leaders of various political parties are switching loyalties to the TRS fold to overcome this crisis, he said. Of course, the CM may not overcome the problem in his own party despite increasing his own clout, he said.
Janardhan Reddy also said that KCR is caught in an irksome situation as Harish popularity is growing day by day.
Stating that the TRS cannot win the by-poll in the Medak, Nagam contended that the BJP candidate Jagga Reddy will win the election as he is being supported by the TDP.
The people are not ready to believe in the TRS leadership which failed to keep its poll promises, he charged.
