Kammas Are Angry With Revanth Reddy

Social media is abuzz with the fuming anger of many Kammas towards Revanth Reddy.

They are upset about the removal of the Kakatiya Thoranam from the emblem of Telangana. They claim that Kakatiya king Ganapathi Deva was a Kamma. In a way, Kammas feel that Revanth Reddy is erasing the Kamma identity from Telangana history with his actions.

Some social media handles are writing that Revanth Reddy grew as a politician with the kind support of Kamma leader Chandrababu Naidu but backstabbed the same community with these deeds.

Katragadda Prasoona, the former TDP MLA, released a video addressing Congress leader Seetakka, stating, "You made Revanth Reddy say that Kakatiyas are cruel and they killed Sammakka and Sarakka of scheduled tribes. That's not right."

She also continued, saying, "You won from Mulugu with the support of Kammas. You wouldn't have won without their support. I will contest in Mulugu as a Kamma lady and you too come for contest. Only when STs and Kammas vote together is victory possible in Mulugu."

Another netizen wrote, "Entire Hyderabad is developed by Kammas in the name of Kakatiya Hills, Kakatiya Mess, and Kakatiya Nagar because Kakatiyas and Kammas. This development of Telangana by Kammas started from 12th-century Kakatiya King Ganapathi Devudu. You are destroying and insulting that legacy, Revanth Reddy. Beware! You are in CM's chair today with the support of Kammas in Hyderabad."

To this post, a netizen replied, "Then why did Congress lose in the entire Hyderabad region but win only in other parts of Telangana if Kammas in Hyderabad supported Revanth Reddy?"

Another netizen also replied, "Kammas! Don't cry and make noise. The Telangana anthem song composition chance is given to Keeravani, who is a Kamma. Be content with that."

However, this is the first time Kammas have openly vented their anger towards Revanth Reddy on social media.
