Everybody knows power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan was one of the richest actors in Tollywood. He and his brother Chiranjeevi had virtually ruled the film industry earning crores of rupees.
But now that Pawan Kalyan is into full-time politics, he is trying to play a sympathy card to win the support of the people.
He wants to create an impression that politicians make more money than film stars and project himself as very poor when compared to other political leaders like Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
“I have no money with me to pump in crores and crores of rupees like these leaders to fight the elections. I have no muscle power. I have come from a middle class family. I came into politics without banking on the support of any caste. But I have the determination in my heart to overhaul this corrupt political system,” he said.
Pawan also went on to say that he had no media support as well.
“Like Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, I don’t have crores of rupees to establish media houses. Like Chandrababu Naidu, I don’t have the support of TV channels. But the heartbeat of womenfolk is my media. The WhatsApp messages are my channels,” he said.
Well, Pawan should tell how he is able to organise his rallies and yatras without money. He should reveal how he has been able to get the support of channels like 99TV, Andhra Prabha and other media houses.
He should disclose what he had done with all the money he had earned in his career in films. He should disclose whether he will take out all that money for the benefit of the people!
