JC to quit Cong, even if T-process is stalled

Senior Congress leader from Anantapur and MLA J C Diwakar Reddy on Monday made another sensational comment saying that he would not be in the Congress whether the State was bifurcated or not.

Talking to the media at Anantapur, JC declared that he would not continue in the Congress party whether Andhra Pradesh was divided or not and he will announce his future course of action after January 31.

He also claimed various political parties have been inviting him because of his “guts to win any election”.

Meanwhile, Minor Irrigation Minister TG Venkatesh said he still hoped that the State bifurcation would be stopped.

Claiming he was getting calls from various political parties to leave the Congress and join them, Venkatesh said, “If the State was bifurcated, I will decide my future course of action after consulting the people and workers of his constituency”.
