It is almost certain that former minister J C Diwakar Reddy will be kicked out of the Congress party. AICC is learnt to have given green signal to PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana to expel him from the party.
And JC also knows about it. He told media on Tuesday that the PCC was trying to throw him out of the Congress party. He, however, ruled out joining the Telugu Desam Party as it had adopted two-eyed policy on State bifurcation issue.
“Only YSR Congress party has taken a very clear stand on keeping the State united,” he said, indicating that he might join Jagan party.
His brother JC Prabhakar Reddy also said they were contemplating to change the party following tremendous pressure from their constituents.
“Though there were rumors that they were contemplating to leave Congress and join TDP or YSR Congress or BJP, they did not meet any party towards that end,” he said.
