Telugu Desam Party senior leader Devineni Umamaheshwar Rao on Tuesday alleged that union minister Jaipal Reddy is playing the role of “Shakuni” of Mahabharata keeping an eye on the Chief Minister post in the process of bifurcation of the State.
Talking to media persons, he said Srisailam and Nagarjunsagar projects fell under the jurisdiction of Seemandhra region, because Srisailam project survey number is in Kurnool district, while Nagarjunsagar project survey number comes in Guntur district.
This was mentioned in a report submitted to the government by the forest department, the TDP leader disclosed.
“Srisailam left and right canals should be with Seemandhra only,” Umamaheshwar Rao said and asked the government to make public the survey numbers of Bhadrachalam, Ashwaraopet and Sattupalli.
Demanding the government to place the facts before the people, he said all problems will be resolved if the State remained united.
