Primary Education Minister Seemandhra Legislators Forum convener Sailajanath on Monday raised voice in support of Samaikhyandhra in the presence of President Pranab Mukherjee.
The President was in Anantapur to participate in the centenary celebrations of former President late Neelam Sanjiva Reddy. On the occasion, Sailajanath spoke in support of Samaikhyandhra and said the President has authority to keep the State undivided. He concluded his speech by saying “Jai Samaikhyandhra and Jai Hind”.
However, the President chose not to make any comments on the State bifurcation issue during his stay in the State so far.
He has been patiently receiving memorandums from both the sides – Telangana and Seemandhra. Having full knowledge of the Telangana issue, Pranab knows how to handle the situation.
