Government Whip in the State Legislative Assembly Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy, who was a staunch loyalist of late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, has now turned a bitter enemy of the latter’s son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, president of YSR Congress party.
Jagga Reddy on Thursday alleged that Jagan had deceived the Coastal Andhra people by taking a U-turn on division of the State. He said that the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi would not go back on Telangana issue at any cost.
At the same time, Jagga Reddy was all praise for Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who had also taken a U-turn after saying that he would abide by the high command decision on Telangana formation. Jagga Reddy said the Chief Minister was an integrationist right from the beginning and therefore, one could not find fault with him.
That is quite an opportunistic talk, indeed!
