Jagan recently made an unobtrusive trip to Delhi and returned within a day. It seems a far cry from the days when he used to regularly visit the national capital especially before the polls and make public appearances. Those visits used to attract a lot of hype.
Perhaps the fact that there is a majority government now in place at the Center that does not need the support of any regional party has contributed to the dwindling footfalls of not just Jagan, but many politicians across the nation.
In fact, if Jagan needs to visit the capital city more often now if he wants to buttress support for the farmers in the land pooling controversy. That Jagan did not make any representation to any noteworthy Minister during his visit is mystifying!
Perhaps he does indeed really believe in the astrologer’s predictions that Naidu will not be in power after two years.
