Jagan Targets Those Three In 2024 Elections

YSR Congress president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has targeted three leaders for the next general elections.

In all probability Jagan Mohan Reddy wants the defeat of these three leaders, from wherever they contest.

Sources say that the chief minister had instructed the ministers and his party leaders to work hard and ensure that the three leaders don’t enter the Assembly.

The three are, TDP chief and leader of opposition N Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.

While Chandrababu Naidu has been successfully contesting from Kuppam Assembly constituency in Chittoor district since 1989, Lokesh had tried unsuccessfully from Mangalagiri segment in Guntur district.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan too had unsuccessfully tried from Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam and Bhimavaram in West Godavari districts in the 2019 elections. He was defeated in both the places miserably.

While it is clear that Chandrababu Naidu would contest from Kuppam again, it is not clear whether Lokesh would contest from Mangalagiri, though he has been touring the constituency on a regular baisis.

There is no clarity from where Pawan Kalyan would contest in the 2024 elections.

However, Jagan Mohan Reddy had reportedly told his party leaders to focus on these three leaders and ensure that they are defeated wherever they contest.

Jagan Mohan Reddy is also understood to have asked the I-PAC team to give him the strategy to defeat these three leaders in the next elections.

It is to be seen how Jagan Mohan Reddy would work to defeat these three leaders, besides retaining power in the state.
