The YSR Congress party, which fought tooth and nail against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, is now reconciled to the division and now appears to be wooing the people of both the regions.
On Tuesday YSR Congress Party honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi said her party was wishing well-being of Telugu people wherever they live.
She said the YSR Congress Party was born from the people’s heart and party leaders should work for solution of the problems being faced by the common people in both the States. The party cadre should mingle with the people and fight for their welfare, she added.
Exhorting party workers to take the welfare schemes launched by late YSR during his regime door to door, Vijayamma asked them to get ready for electoral battle soon courageously.
She stressed the need to popularize the welfare schemes, which were assured by YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at plenary meeting.
