YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is making visits to different parts of the country only for political purposes and not for seeking any support to Samaikyandhra.
This was the contention of Telugu Desam Party senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. He said Jagan’s visit to West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai was only a political visit and not for mobilizing support for keeping Andhra Pradesh united, he alleged.
Cautioning the national political parties to be wary of Jagan, Yanamala wondered whether the YSR Congress party president was trying for federal front politics.
“When BSP passed a resolution for carving out three new states in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi party vehemently opposed it. Trinamul Congress led by Mamata Banerjee always opposed smaller states in view of Darjeeling and Gorkhaland demands. What benefit Jagan will have with these parties for keeping the State united?”, the TDP leader questioned.
