Telugu Desam Party senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Monday alleged that YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was partner in the Congress politics for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Ramakrishnudu said in a statement that Jagan was tacitly extending support to the Congress in the division of the State merely for getting political mileage.
Terming the tacit understanding between Congress and YSRC as a “political quid-pro-quo”, the TDP leader alleged that AICC president Sonia Gandhi had helped Jagan in getting bail while the latter was extending support in bifurcation of the state.
Accusing Jagan of changing his stand now and then on bifurcation issue, he said first YSRC chief had said that he would abide by his father’s word who had initiated separate Telangana issue. Later Jagan said it can be done under article-3 and after that he gave a slogan of equal justice.
Finally now he was chanting Samaikyandhra slogan. He was resorting to ‘chameleon (oosaravelli) politics, Ramakrkshunudu alleged.
