Jagan Fascination For Bay Of Bengal Continues!

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy seems to be of the view that the harsher the words he uses against his political rival N Chandrababu Naidu, the more will be the chances he coming to power.

On Sunday, Jagan once again called upon the people throw the Andhra Pradesh chief minister into Bay of Bengal for compromising on the special category status to the state and accepting the special package. He said those who opposed the special status would be dumped in the sea.

The Opposition Leader also asserted that Naidu deserved to be put in jail for his dereliction of duty and cheap outlook towards women.

“When the state is reeling under innumerable problems, Naidu is planning to organize bikini parties in Vizag,” he said.

This is not the first time that he had asked the people to throw Naidu into Bay of Bengal. He made a similar call before the 2014 elections, but such harsh words only benefitted Naidu. Similarly, he called upon the people to beat Naidu with chappals and brooms. And it evoked strong reaction from the TDP leaders, leading to exchange of words.

Addressing the public meeting at Visakhapatnam, Jagan said not a single section of society is living in comfort after the bifurcation.

"All these problems are because of Chandrababu Naidu's misrule and massive political corruption," he said and lambasted the TDP for failing in keeping its election promises.

He alleged that all that the Naidu government was developing was his own assets and increasing the share price of his Heritage Company.

He reiterated that only Special Category Status to the state can put an end to the problems of the five and a half crore people of Andhra Pradesh and vowed to continue the movement till the Centre accords it in accordance with the ambitions of people.
