Jagan-Babu Fight Takes Off

With elections round the corner, Jagan and Chandra Babu Naidu are indulging in allegations and counter allegations.

Jagan has strongly reacted to accusations made by Chandra Babu Naidu recently.

Babu likened Jagan to a corrupt Anaconda and said that though the CBI had reported of Rs 43,000 crore scam, no action was taken against him.

In his counter attack, Jagan pointed out that when Chandra Babu Naidu entered politics in 1978, his family owned mere two and a half acres land. He questioned how Babu amassed thousands of crores in such a short span.

He further pointed out that no CBI inquiry was undertaken when Chandra Babu Naidu gave away 530 acres of land in the heart of the city on single tender. Similarly, when Chandra Babu Naidu allotted 830 acres to a hitherto unknown company IMG Bharat, the High Court ordered an enquiry into it. Despite that, the CBI refrained from issuing notice to Babu.

Jagan also mentioned the letter written by late NT Rama Rao where in he said that his son-in-law Chandra Babu Naidu was the most corrupt person in the entire country. He also said that the Communists went to the extent of publishing books on corrupt Babu calling his tenure as the most corrupt.

Jagan said that Chandra Babu’s allegations against him were meant to sidetrack the Samaikyandhra movement. He said that Chandra Babu who along with the Congress sent him to jail over false accusations, will pay the price soon. Jagan added that in three months when the Congress would be voted out of power, Chandra Babu will serve his term in jail.

Jagan countered the Chandra Babu strategy to weaken YSRCP in Seemandhra with equal force. He questioned why the CBI that could implicate him in false cases, did not order an inquiry into the corrupt activities of Chandra Babu Naidu.

Looks like the electoral face off between Chandra Babu and Jagan has already begun!
