No politician is bothered about the hard working middle-class and alleviating their miseries but their entire minds are pre-occupied with coming out with populist schemes for the poor people because the latter constitute the majority vote-bank.
Chandrababu’s ‘Chandranna Sankranthi Pathakam’ is one such scheme whereby freebies of essential commodities are doled out to white ration card holders on the occasion of Sankranthi. This would cost the exchequer around Rs 300 crore approximately.
On the other hand, there are nearly 7000 teachers working in aided schools in Andhra Pradesh who haven’t been paid their salaries for the last three months.
Where is Sankranthi for them, Mr. Naidu? Numerous representations and petitions have been made by the teachers to various officials and Ministers. All have promised them support, nothing has changed!
Please pay these teachers first, Mr. Naidu and then you can waste money on your freebies.
