Anyone who observes A Revanth Reddy, the Telangana Congress chief, attending the TANA 23rd conference in Pennsylvania can't help but wonder if he is the leader of the TS Congress or the AP TDP.
He seems more focused on discussing Amaravati and ensuring the TDP's victory in the upcoming elections.
He frequently mentions that he raised the issue of Amaravati with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and received assurance to make Amaravati the sole capital of the state.
During the TANA conference, he seems to talk more about Andhra Pradesh than his own state of Telangana!
His emphasis is on the TDP coming to power in AP rather than the Congress winning the next election in Telangana!
Some Reddy members of TANA attending the conference have noticed that Revanth Reddy is more involved in lobbying for the TDP rather than his own Congress party.
What is even more surprising and shocking is that Revanth Reddy interacts primarily with TDP leaders and sympathizers rather than Congress supporters.
Despite leaving the TDP several years ago, he still appears more loyal to Chandrababu Naidu than to Rahul Gandhi.
His loyalty seems to lie more with the Kamma community than with his own Reddy community.
It is unfortunate that despite being in the Congress and in Telangana, Revanth Reddy is serving the interests of the TDP and the Kammas in Andhra Pradesh.
