Power Star Pawan Kalyan continues to baffle everyone. He disappointed the BJP-TDP combine by not campaigning for them in the GHMC elections.
He disappointed his fans by not putting up Jana Sena candidates in the elections. In fact, he had in the past promised to field candidates in the GHMC elections.
So far, he had just been to the AP Capital area once or twice to talk about farmers’ problems and then met Chandrababu a couple of times.
Beyond that he had done nothing and did not talk of politics either. Though the TDP and BJP leaders wanted him to campaign for them, he hadn’t shown any interest.
Now, has he become disillusioned with politics? Is he disappointed with the present day politics? Or does he feel that joining active politics is useless? Many of his fans are asking if he has decided to keep away from politics.
In fact this now-on now-off has been Pawan Kalyan’s character all these days. When Praja Rajyam was started, he was very active. Then he suddenly became silent.
He was again active with his Jana Sena during 2014 elections. Then he became inactive again. Any politician would be very active during elections. If a politico stays away from elections, it is both suicidal and idiotic. But, Pawan is doing it.
Should one wait till 2019 to see him becoming active? No one knows. But, given the maverick nature of Pawan, keep your fingers crossed.
