It has indeed become extremely difficult of late to try and gauge the motives behind the decisions of Chandrababu Naidu.
As of now, although he has been elected the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he seems to be more in the mood to oblige Telangana than his own people of Seemandhra.
Take for example his letter of support to the ‘Center’ in creation of Telangana. The Congress said that it would not have gone ahead with the bifurcation but for the letter of support by the TDP.
Nevertheless, the people of Andhra elected him CM because of his experience in administration. But clearly, Naidu does not know how to create a balance between agrarian and urban development and is once again committing the serious error of favoring economic development completely at the expense of the farming community.
The majority of realtors who will benefit from his new ‘Capital city’ scheme hail from his community. And then the other day, Naidu was saying that he would have statues of Telangana martyrs in Vijayawada. This is only with the intention of coming to power in Telangana as well.
Having favored the creation of Telangana and then threatening our very own farmers, Naidu it seems is behaving more like the CM of Telangana than Andhra Pradesh!
