At the 'Bhoomi Puja' of the new capital, Nara Chandrababu was present along with his wife and son, Lokesh. But the event was conspicuous by the absence of any representatives from the opposition and other walks of life.
It was almost like a family event of the ‘Naras’ which brings us to the question; “Is the new capital only for the Nara family, the TDP and the Kamma community or is it for the entire people of Andhra Pradesh?”
There might be differences between the ruling party and the opposition but this is an occasion when all differences have to be put aside and courtesy extended to one and all irrespective of Party affiliations.
So, an invitation has to be extended to all to partake of the ‘Bhoomi Puja’ ceremony. Do Naidu even invite them in the first place?
Whether they choose to attend or not is up to them but as the Chief Minister, if he thinks the new capital is for all, then he should have invited the opposition Party MLA’s and MP’s. it is highly unlikely that he did so.
