When leading actor and Chandra Babu Naidu’s brother-in-law toured Nimmakuru recently, many Telugu Desam leaders anticipated some interesting developments.
However, Balakrishna did not speak a word about politics and this surprised many.
In fact, Balayya’s fans were disappointed. The twist in the story was that Balakrishna not only avoided speaking about politics, but he also did not address the media here.
When he visited Vijayawada earlier, he had mentioned that he would be contesting for the Lok Sabha from there. But now, Balayya is silent on the issue.
On the other hand, he said that he will be starting a voluntary organization after his name.
It has to be noted that Balakrishna mentioned opening a voluntary organization despite the existence of NTR Trust.
Wonder if he wanted to say that he will stay away from politics and involve himself in social work? There is another line of thought that says that he might he moving his pawns in the right direction to contest for the Rajya Sabha in the forthcoming elections.
Earlier, Harikrishna was the Rajyasabha member from the NTR family.
However, now, Chandra Babu would rather opt to give the seat to Balakrishna as that would keep him away from the state politics.
The TDP High Command might try to gather the support of NTR family members before the elections as it would work in their favour during the polls.
Meanwhile, is Balakrishna trying to remain silent and projecting himself to be a philanthropist by involving himself in social work? Or is he already disgusted with politics? Well, it will be a while before we know the actual cause!
