Surveys showed a positive response toward Allagadda BJP in-charge Bhuma Kishore Reddy, who is seen as a strong competitor against the YCP. Kishore has been building his image in the constituency for a couple of years, setting himself apart from Akhila Priya.

Party members recalled Akhila Priya's repeated expressions of her fondness for TDP and her willingness to sacrifice for its victory. Nevertheless, the TDP has replaced Akhila Priya with another leader from the Bhuma family for the Allagadda seat.
