There is ongoing discussion about BJP approaching YCP leaders. Some YCP leaders are reportedly dissatisfied, with the YCP's concern about them.
For example, a former minister from one of the northern districts of Andhra Pradesh is said to be unhappy with YCP, particularly concerned about his son’s political future. Since YCP’s defeat, he has distanced himself from the party.
Although he considered joining TDP, he did not receive a proper invitation. As a result, it is speculated that he is now exploring the possibility of joining the BJP.
Similarly, in the case of former leaders who held constitutional posts, there are rumors that the BJP has appeared as an option.
Several former YCP MLAs from the Visakha district are reportedly disappointed about not receiving adequate opportunities despite the party being in power.
This dissatisfaction has led some of them to remain completely silent, fueling speculation about their potential shift toward the BJP.
Additionally, a senior leader from the Visakha district, who served as a minister in YCP for many years, recently resigned from the party. After unsuccessful attempts to join Janasena and TDP, there is now a campaign suggesting that he may join the BJP.
Sources also indicate that the BJP is extending positive signals to welcome prominent YCP leaders into its ranks.
