Intelligence predicts Jagan wave?

Intelligence predicts Jagan wave?

Though the Election Commission has banned the conduct of exit polls in the states which went to polling in the first phase of general elections held on April 11, several agencies have been declaring the results in the social media, if not directly in the mainstream media.

It is not exactly known what the authenticity of these exit poll results are, but such surveys are in circulation in the social media.

In Andhra Pradesh, a latest exit poll survey is doing rounds attributing it to the state intelligence sources.

According to this survey, the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is going to sweep the polls in Andhra Pradesh. It is most likely to win 117 seats in the 175-member state assembly. The Telugu Desam Party will get 43 seats. There is a close contest between TDP and YSRC in another 13 seats, while Jana Sena is fighting with YSRC in two other seats.

Even if the TDP wins all the 13 seats, it will get a maximum of 56 seats and Jana Sena can get at the most two seats, including Bhimavaram where its president Pawan Kalyan is contesting. The Congress and the BJP will expectedly draw a blank.

However, there is no authenticity to this so-called AP intelligence reports, as there is no evidence to prove it.

Another survey, said to have been done by a Delhi-based private agency – Political Analysis and Research Centre, YSRC will get 121 assembly seats, TDP will end up with 49 seats and Jana Sena four seats. Surprisingly, it also gives one seat to the BJP.

In Telangana Lok Sabha elections, this agency says TRS will get 14 MP seats, while Congress, BJP and MIM will get one seat each. And in Andhra Pradesh, it predicts the YSRC will get 18 MP seats, while the TDP will bag the remaining seven MP seats.
