Industries Moving Out Of Telangana?

Several industries are moving out of Telangana, as the investors are not evincing interest in putting more investments in the region due to unfavourable governance by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao.

This was alleged by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Friday. Ponnala claimed that the industries of Telangana State had suffered losses to the tune of Rs 11,000 crore in the recent past due to lack of clarity on the government's policy.

He alleged that several industries were shifting their base to residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.

He said while the TRS Government should have ensure new industries in the State, the existing were leaving Telangana due to lack of facilities and support from the government.

Ponnala demanded that the government come out with its new industrial policy to prevent the existing industries from leaving the State and also to attract fresh investments.
