As if to put an end to speculations that he is going to quit the Bharatiya Janata Party to join another party, former minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Thursday visited BJP headquarters at Nampally.
Nagam, who has been keeping away from party activities for some time, visited BJP state party office and met some leaders and workers.
Till the other day, he used to organize his press conferences outside the party office which generated rumors that he may join some other party.
An unconfirmed report said that Nagam visited the office to convey his plans to the party about launching an independent agitation against TRS government.
Nagam, who is demanding the state government to complete pending irrigation projects in Mahabubnagar district, wanted to launch a “Save Telangana” programme.
Sources said Nagam requested that the BJP support his programme. However, there is no information as yet whether the BJP assured him the support or not.
