Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is a unique personality in that he never does what he promises.
Naturally, his band of followers has also been following in his footsteps. IT employees who are also TDP Party members announced a ‘cycle yatra’ from Hyderabad to their dream capital ‘Amaravathi’.
Today, they flagged off the rally which was called ‘Amaravathi cycle ride’ with some big TDP functionaries taking part. Naturally, people were surprised because cycling from Hyderabad to Amaravathi is no joke. But this is where the real story starts.
After reaching the outskirts of the city, all the riders got down and their bicycles were bundled onto a lorry. They themselves got into an air conditioned bus which was followed by the lorry.
As they approached another town, the bicycles came out of the lorry and the TDP guys got on to them again. This feature was being repeated at every town.
Maybe, this is what is called a ‘smart rally’ in tune with Naidu’ ‘smart vision’.
