As March 14 is approaching, the numbers of rumours doing rounds in tinsel ville and in political circles about Pawan Kalyan’s political entry have multiplied.
The latest rumour is that the entire drama is a mere ploy to make sure that his brother Chiranjeevi gets key position within the Congress party.
It is being said, if that happens, then Pawan Kalyan would immediately drop the idea of joining active politics.
And by key role, it is being said that the brothers are expecting the Congress to give Chiranjeevi more freedom to take up an active role while canvassing for the party during the forthcoming elections, chance to vie for the CM’s post or at least consider him for the PCC post.
Hardcore fans of Pawan confess that Pawan is not capable of taking independent decisions by brushing aside his big brother’s wishes. Hence, this latest bit of gossip has gained significance.
Apparently, Pawan is waiting to see how the Congress party deals with his elder brother before making any announcement.
It is being strongly rumoured that Chiranjeevi had spoken to Pawan Kalyan and warned him against taking hasty decisions.
‘Don’t make decisions in haste… let’s wait for a while’, he is said to have told his younger brother.
Well, while one does not know if there is any truth in such rumours, one thing is for sure. After bifurcation, it was said that Chiranjeevi would be made the CM for the newly formed AP state prior to the elections. But Congress gave him the royal ignore. So, did Pawan get agitated by the treatment meted out to his brother? Is that the reason behind his venturing into politics?
These are some rumours that are being hotly debated.
