Well! Most IAS officials in Andhra Pradesh are envious of their batchmates who are ruling the roost in Delhi. And the reason is not just the clout they enjoy and the leverage they possess. They also want to get away from the torment that Chandrababu Naidu is.
Chandrababu Naidu is a very difficult leader to work with. His long and almost never-ending harangues and his inordinately delayed outings are robbing the mandarins of their Sundays and other holidays.
Any meeting with Chandrababu means waiting for hours for the boss to arrive and then hearing him blubbering on and on for hours. More painful is the bossing around by TDP minions.
TDP leaders are giving tough time to the IAS officers with their demands that border on the bizarre and require lot of rule-bending. Most IAS officials are reportedly requesting their friends in Delhi to do something so that they can get shifted to Central services.
Some officials say working under KCR is far better as there is always this incentive of being in Hyderabad. Vijayawada is a desert compared to Hyderabad in terms of enjoyment, relaxation and even socializing.
