Even as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leadership is focusing on forming the government, its supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao is holding parleys with his senior colleagues and began taking their suggestions on policies.
An elated KCR is said to be on cloud nine as several media reports sum it up that the TRS is going to clean sweep the general elections.
On other hand, some senior IAS officials are said to have begun lobbying for top posts in Telangana State.
KCR who summoned his party leaders a few days ago is said to have shared his views on government formation.
Policies to be adopted, files to be first signed, allocation of office space in Secretariat, distribution of officials, giving priority to seniors who strived hard for the party’s victory and cabinet formation are some of the important issues that were discussed in the meeting.
Also it is learnt that the leaders suggested KCR to impress upon the center to distribute officials on “nativity” basis rather than giving “options”. They also objected the allocation of office space in Secretariat including to those of Heads of Departments to Andhra Pradesh Government.
They are understood to have urged KCR to see that the AP Govt should be given an alternative space and retain all blocks in the Secretariat for Telangana State Government alone.
Other issues that were touched upon include allocation of Jubilee Hall to be used as Council and Lake View Guest House for Camp office of Chief Minister for Andhra Pradesh.
